Thanks for your question. With the automated tree detection approach we are able to detect tree number, position, height, and canopy diameter of plantations. If the ground is visible, then we are able to detect the absolute height. For the case, that the canopy is closed and no information about the terrain exist, this methodology which is based on photogrammetry can measure only the relative growth through repeated mappings.
